ABOUT FRANCINE

With diverse sales and analytics experience in finance, M&A, private equity, intellectual property valuation and energy services industries, Ms. Darko has developed a thorough knowledge of industry structure, competitive trends, operations and strategic competitor analysis.


Francine Darko has years of experience in Real Estate, Energy Sustainability and a focus on Renewable Energy and Carbon Management. She has cultivated effective business relationships and communicated the full scope of energy solutions and services to meet client business goals and objectives, including sales volume and market share. Ms. Darko has developed a wide network of key decision makers in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries to secure the sale of client offerings. She has developed sales plans and presentations for key commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, government and retail customers to implement energy efficiency and renewable energy products, services and solutions.


At the Enel Group, she developed a comprehensive knowledge of the products/services, competitors, and markets to guide strategy, optimize revenue, and achieve sales goals. She maintained lines of communication with clients and service teams, to produce long-term partnerships with sustainable revenue growth in the New York market. While developing and executing strategic sales plans based on territory analysis, she drove new business throughout the five boroughs, Long Island and Upstate New York. She attended onsite client meetings to assess needs and negotiate services, deliver presentations to introduce new service lines, sell value proposition, and increase revenue. She generated over $15M in sales revenue (in only eight months in the demand response industry) and ensured ongoing pipeline opportunities through customer-focused sales and marketing tactics. Over 80% of generated sales revenue was new business. Clients included large industrial and commercial properties where she negotiated and closed complex sales, resolved conflicts, and ensured end-to-end client satisfaction by working hand-in-hand across legal, underwriting, implementation groups to communicate directly with C-level executives.


Prior to the Enel Group, at Associated Renewable, she cultivated effective business relationships and communicated the full scope of energy solutions and services to meet clients’ business goals and achieved company sales objectives. She developed a wide network of key decision makers in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries to secure the sale of the company’s offerings. Her clients included multi-family, residential and commercial properties, owners and developers, including Turner Construction.


With diverse sales and analytics experience in finance, M&A, private equity, intellectual property valuation and energy services industries, she has developed a thorough knowledge of industry structure, competitive trends, operations and strategic competitor analysis. Ms. Darko has a BS in Economics & Finance and a minor in Business Law from Bentley University.
